The [Brand] [Model] 22 kW AC is for properties that already have three-phase power, or plan to get it. On a three-phase supply it can charge a compatible car roughly three times faster than a single-phase wallbox, which helps households with two EVs, long daily commutes or short turnarounds between trips.
The Type 2 socket makes it a flexible choice. Visitors and family members can plug in with their own cables, and there is no cable hanging on the wall. RFID cards let you control who charges, which is useful on a small business premises or a shared driveway. It also fits well in a workplace charging set-up where a few bays need faster top-ups.
Before choosing it, check two things: your supply and your car. If either is limited to single-phase or 7 kW, the 7.4 kW model does the same job for less. Our charger sizing tool helps you work it out, and the full range is listed under home EV chargers.
We start with a site assessment to confirm the three-phase supply, the spare capacity at your DB board and the cable route. A registered electrician then installs a dedicated three-phase circuit with suitable protection, mounts the charger on a wall or pedestal, and tests the installation before issuing a Certificate of Compliance. Outdoor installs get a weather-appropriate mounting position and, where the cable is exposed, suitable conduit or armoured cable.
If your property is single-phase today, a three-phase upgrade involves an application to Eskom or your municipality and can take time. We explain the process and costs up front. The scope of a standard job is on our installation service page.
Tap an RFID card or start a session in the app. You can set schedules, cap the charging current and review energy use per session, which helps if you want to separate business and personal charging.
Because the unit has an RFID reader, you can issue cards to family members, staff or tenants and see who charged and when. Firmware updates arrive over the air, and the OCPP connection means the charger can later join a management platform if your needs grow.

[Brand]
A networked dual-socket AC charger that serves two bays from one unit, with OCPP, RFID access, per-socket metering and load management for shared sites.
Only if its onboard charger accepts 22 kW AC, and many cars accept 11 kW or less. The charger delivers whatever the car can take, so it is still useful, but check your car's specification before paying for the extra capacity.
It will work on single-phase, but at about 7 kW. Unless you plan to upgrade your supply, the 7.4 kW model is the better value.
Yes. This is a socket model, so you use a Type 2 cable. We can supply one to match your car; see our accessories.
Yes. Load management balances the charger against the rest of the property, and several units can share a supply when linked to a management platform.
Slightly. The circuit is three-phase and the cable is larger, so DB board capacity and cable distance matter more. We confirm both during the site assessment.
